The story of Green Bay Packaging (GBP) starts back in 1933 — when George Kress, our founder, first began working on corrugated containers as a replacement for crude wooden ones. Our headquarters are still in Green Bay, Wisconsin — but the company has spread its wings far and wide since then. Today, we employ upwards of 4,000 people in more than 35 facilities, located in 15 states. And our range of operations is vast, thanks to the complete vertical integration of our company in the pulp and paper industry. We cultivate some of the biggest timberlands in the industry, and we process that timber with a lumber mill, paper mills, and corrugated box plants. Along with a folding carton division and operations focusing on coated products — we provide a wide variety of employment opportunities!
